Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and whatever greeting makes you feel warm and comfortable as the temperature gets lower and lower. Our present to you is the inaugural episode of "BYOBeliefs" or "Bring Your Own Beliefs." We're still working on the name.
This week, we introduce you to ourselves and our very different backgrounds. You may disagree with either or both of us, but that's not the point. Sometimes the discussion is more important than the content. We believe nothing is worth believing if you can't also think about it.
Feel free to tell us what you think in the comments, but please, keep it civil. We encourage conversation and debate, but we reserve the right to delete any comment we find antagonistic, aggressive, or mean. There are plenty of other places on the Internet to get into a fight.
We logged the episode for you, in case you want to skip around:
0:00-5:10: We give you a little background on ourselves and our religious upbringing.
5:10-13:10: Adam's intro to Judaism, and how relgion has changed over time
13:10-16:20: Are people wired differently for faith?
