Even though we only recorded five episodes, we managed to record a Christmas episode. Enjoy.
Happy Holidays!

Episode 4: Why Believe?
Before the end of the year, we wanted to post the last of these, maybe for a while.
This time, we explore the very basic question of why we believe anything. For some, it's as natural as breathing, but for others, it makes no sense. What difference does it make if someone believes in Christ or Mohammad or Buddha.
No joke, we manage to make this conversation about Las Vegas, and it weirdly makes sense.
Some time in the future, we may log this, but for now, just enjoy.

Episode 3: What is the Bible, Part 2
While the Supreme Court debates the legal merits of gay marriage, we wanted to remind everyone that real, measured discussion is still possible. When it comes to religious vs. secular views, gay marriage and homosexuality may be the hardest to reconcile, but that doesn't mean the discussions have to end. Ultimately, society will fall one way or the other, and if we don't find a way to exist in either, where does that leave us? It will be some time before we hit anything that hot button.
For now, we just want to continue our discussion of the Bible. If I can say the book Mario bases his life on is full of holes, and that's not the end of the conversation, maybe there's hope for us all. This episode picks up right where part 1 leaves off, so if you haven't listened to that first, or if you want a refresher, I recommend you start there:
Episode 3: What is the Bible?, Part 1
Feel free to tell us what you think in the comments, but please, keep it civil. We encourage conversation and debate, but we reserve the right to delete any comment we find antagonistic, aggressive, or mean. There are plenty of other places on the Internet to get into a fight. Feel free to comment with topics you'd like us to cover in the future.
We logged the episode for you, in case you want to skip around:
Part 2:
0:00- 6:40: Truth edited?
6:40-13:00: Gospel perfection
13:00-18:10: Apostle rigor
18:10-20:20: Perfect construction
20:20-25:45: Wrapping it up

Episode 3: What is the Bible, Part 1
I would say debate is all over the news, except what they're doing on the news isn't debate. It's brinksmanship. If any of them at any point cared about their values, the point has passed where it even matters to get anything accomplished. We can't change how our country is run. All we can do is talk, and listen. Conversation never hurts. Finding yourself with an understanding of the other side doesn't mean you have to accept it. It just makes it harder to de-humanize them. We're all just people trying to live the best we can.
With that in mind, this month, I challenge Mario on the very basis of the Bible. We both believe the Bible is an important book in human history. Beyond that, we get into so many issues, we had to split the episode in two parts. I hope to have the next part up in a few weeks.

Episode 2: Evolution
We hope everyone had a fruitful January. I'm sure all resolutions are going good and strong. Our resolution was to keep these coming on a regular basis, so without further ado, episode 2. (Our other resolution is to avoid rhyming)
This month, we introduce our normal format. Each month, we will cover a topic the faithful and the faithless rarely, if ever, agree on. We wasted no time landing on evolution. [This episode contains explicit language]
